Mother's Day message from Erdoğan: 'We can never repay our mothers'

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan celebrated Mother's Day in a message posted on his social media account, expressing his gratitude to all mothers.

President Erdoğan published a message on his social media account for Mother's Day, celebrating the day for all mothers.

In his message, Erdoğan stated: 'I congratulate all the mothers in our country and around the world on Mother's Day. I pray to the Almighty for a healthy, happy, and prosperous life for our mothers, whom we can never repay no matter what we do, together with their families, children, and loved ones.

I remember with mercy, gratitude, and appreciation all our mothers who have migrated from this world to the hereafter, especially my own dear mother. I also celebrate the Mother's Day of the esteemed mothers of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the waving of the glorious crescent, for the survival of our beloved homeland, and for the independence and future of our nation, and I kiss the hands of each one of them.

I respectfully salute the precious mothers of our veterans who paid very heavy prices for these lands, which are the legacy of the martyrs, and I congratulate them all on Mother's Day. Likewise, I remember with mercy all the Gazan mothers who reached the rank of martyrdom, leaving behind thousands of orphans with tearful eyes and sorrowful hearts during the brutal genocide that has been ongoing in Palestine for exactly 19 months. I also wholeheartedly celebrate the Mother's Day of my precious wife and dear daughters; I thank them for their patience, sacrifices, and efforts. May the Almighty grant us the opportunity to see days where peace, tranquility, and well-being prevail on earth, and where Mother's Day is celebrated with beauty,' he said.
