AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made assessments regarding the agenda in a video message he released for the New Year.
Speaking about economic policies, Erdoğan argued that the implemented programs are yielding positive results and said, “We are shifting into a higher gear in production, investment, employment, and exports.”

Touching upon the 500 thousand social housing project, for which the lottery was held on Monday, Erdoğan drew attention to the project's impact on the housing market. Erdoğan stated, “It will contribute to reducing the bubble in housing rental prices.”
Stating that the gains achieved in the economy will be further strengthened with reforms this year, Erdoğan claimed that the cities in the earthquake zone are being rebuilt.

Referring to the returns following the end of the war in Syria, Erdoğan stated that approximately 600 thousand Syrians have returned to their country. Erdoğan said, “As peace takes root in Syria, voluntary returns have increased.”
Emphasizing that Turkey will stand by Syria under all circumstances, Erdoğan said, “A strong Syria will make exceptional contributions to the region.”

Reacting to Israel's attacks on Gaza, Erdoğan said, “We will not remain silent until Israel is held accountable before justice.”

Giving messages regarding the second resolution process, which the government calls a "Terror-Free Turkey," Erdoğan said, “We have left an important threshold behind. As the People's Alliance, we have concentrated on the solution in this process. We have put our entire body under the stone. The process will open a new page. It is our desire that the commission acts with a spirit of consensus. It cannot be sacrificed to self-interest calculations.”
