Erdoğan's 'Only two leaders left in the world, one is me, one is Putin' remark! 'All the others...'
Meeting with youth in Gaziantep, AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "There are only two of us left among world leaders. Right now, there is me and there is Vladimir Putin. This humble servant has been in office for 22 years. Mr. Putin has been in office for almost as long. All the others have been eliminated."

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the Youth Meetings program in Gaziantep.
Answering questions from young people there, Erdoğan touched upon world politics and the latest developments in Syria.
"ONLY TWO LEADERS LEFT IN THE WORLD, ONE IS ME, ONE IS PUTIN"
A young person attending the event asked Erdoğan, recalling the sections about him in Angela Merkel's book 'Freedom', "What do you owe your success in diplomatic relations to?"
Erdoğan gave the following response:
"Expressions are very important. Alongside expressions, maintaining the dialogue mechanism with them is very, very important. We call these diplomatic offensives.
As for these offensives, there are already only two of us left among world leaders right now. Right now, there is me and there is Vladimir Putin. I am not saying this because it is me; I am stating the facts. This humble servant has been in office for 22 years. Mr. Putin has been in office for almost as long. All the others have been eliminated.
The process is currently ongoing. Our wish is to continue to maintain these relations within this dialogue."
