Erdoğan's remarks on CHP: They have turned the party founded by Gazi Mustafa Kemal into a play tent

President Erdoğan's statements:

"We have inaugurated the Aydın-Denizli Motorway, which draws the roadmap for the Aegean's transportation network with a length of 163 kilometers. Now, we are embracing our Aydın provincial organization and our fellow travelers. First, we inaugurated the Aydın-Denizli Motorway, which redraws the transportation map of the Aegean Region with its 163-kilometer length. With a 140-kilometer main road featuring 6 lanes—3 going and 3 coming—and a 23-kilometer connection road with 4 lanes—2 going and 2 coming—this work of ours will make very important contributions to the entire Aegean, along with Aydın and Denizli. We have reduced the travel time between Aydın and Denizli, which used to take 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions via the D320 state road, to 55 minutes. Thus, we will save a total of 7.4 billion liras annually, including 1 billion liras from fuel."

AYDIN IS A CITY THAT LIVES UP TO ITS NAME

I thank the brothers and sisters who handed over the flag for their efforts, and I wish our brothers and sisters who have taken it over great success from the Almighty. Aydın is a city that lives up to its name. Aydın is the joy of our country's eyes, the joy of its heart. God willing, the Efe comes from Aydın. The Zeybek comes from it. Brave hearts who give their lives for their homeland and honor come from it. No coup plotters come from Aydın. People of the nation like our martyred Prime Minister Adnan Menderes come from it.

IF WE ARE LIVING IN PEACE, IT IS THANKS TO EACH OF OUR MARTYRS

Today, I would like to underline this fact once again. If we have been living in peace on these lands for centuries, it is thanks to each of our martyrs. If our flag waves freely on the mast, if our calls to prayer rise to the sky five times a day, if we continue our lives with our honor and dignity as a nation, it is undoubtedly thanks to the sacrifice of our martyrs. We are aware that this homeland and this flag are a trust left to us by our noble martyrs, aren't we? My dear fellow travelers and comrades, with this high consciousness, for exactly 22 years, we have been firmly protecting the trusts for which our martyrs sacrificed their lives. Without deviating from the path drawn by those heroes, we are running day and night to exalt Turkey and to further increase Turkey's reputation.

WE HAVE MADE THE TERRORIST ORGANIZATION PAY A VERY HEAVY PRICE

By achieving our goal of a Turkey without terrorism, I hope we will try to pay our debt of gratitude to our martyrs at least a little bit. We will definitely save our country and our nation from the separatist terror scourge that has been sucking our blood and resources like a leech for 40 years. We have made very serious progress in this direction recently. With our strategy of rooting out terrorism at its source, we have made the separatist terrorist organization pay a very heavy price. Thanks to our operations that continue 365 days a year, we have largely ended the presence of terrorists within our borders. With our Claw-Lock operation in northern Iraq, we have built an unshakable wall between Qandil and our country. With our cross-border operations, we have broken and cast aside the terror corridor that was intended to be created in northern Syria from four places. We did not allow the separatist terrorist organization to surround Turkey from the south under the protection of its imperialist masters."

We are continuing our fight against terrorism with great sensitivity both at home and abroad. With the end of the 61-year Ba'ath oppression in Syria and the Syrian opposition liberating Damascus, the separatist terrorists are now cornered. Now they are looking for new bosses. They are trying to be charming to those who do not want our region to achieve stability. They are winking at imperialist powers that feed on blood and tears. But whatever they do is in vain, whatever they do is useless. There is nowhere they can reach with hostility toward Turkey and Syria. As they pursue separatist ambitions, they will get a little closer to their bitter end. Unless they face the new realities on the ground, their lives will be shortened even more. They cannot and will not achieve any results by leaning on foreign power centers. As our ancestors said, he who rides another's horse dismounts quickly."
