Erdoğan's statement on trade with Israel! 'We have now...'

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the 5th Conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform in Istanbul.

"NETANYAHU IS THE BUTCHER OF GAZA"

Reacting to Israel's attacks on civilians in Gaza, Erdoğan said, "The Hitlers and Nazis of our time are the murderers who have killed more than 15 thousand children in Gaza. Netanyahu has written his name into history with shame as the butcher of Gaza."

Speaking about trade with Israel, Erdoğan stated, "We have now cut off our relations with Israel, primarily in terms of trade."

Highlights from Erdoğan's remarks are as follows:

"Those who want to see the pharaohs of the modern era do not need to look far. Let them look at those who are ruthlessly massacring 35 thousand Palestinians. The Hitlers and Nazis of our time are the murderers who have killed more than 15 thousand children in Gaza. Netanyahu has written his name into history with shame as the butcher of Gaza. This black stain will not come off no matter what he does. Some are immediately disturbed when we speak like this. Like every criminal whose crime is told to his face, the Israeli administration thinks it can silence us. They think they can cover up their murders with the media and lobbying power they have. Whatever you do is in vain, no matter how hard you try, it is futile. You cannot put chains on Tayyip Erdoğan's heart. We will never bow to your threats and pressures. O Netanyahu, my prayer is this: O Lord, manifest with Your name Al-Qahhar (The Subduer) and bring these Zionists, especially Netanyahu, to ruin. We cannot be among those who slander Hamas as a terrorist organization just because Israel and its Western supporters want it so.

We have now cut off our relations with Israel, primarily in terms of trade. Turkey is a country that has never committed genocide, has never been colonialist, and has never touched the innocent in any period of its history spanning over 2000 years.

'JET FUEL' RESPONSE

Last month, local government elections were held in our country. We were subjected to a great slander during the election process. While the prices we have paid as individuals while defending the Palestinian cause are evident, some tried to overshadow the strong support our country and nation have given to the Palestinian resistance. They carried out this dirty campaign because their ambitions surpassed their reason and conscience. They even brought up a lot of irrational, unconscionable, and immoral claims, such as that they sent jet fuel to Israel. Is it possible for Tayyip Erdoğan and his friends to take such a step?

RESPONSE TO KÜRECİK CLAIMS

Now we see that the same circles are clinging to similar lies regarding the radar base in Kürecik. They are trying to exploit this issue. The radar center in Kürecik has no relationship, connection, or link with any state other than the security of our country and our alliance, and it cannot have one. Turkey would not allow such a thing anyway. As a Muslim, above all else, lying is what God hates the most.

"WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE US DECISION"

The fact that the Palestinian people do not have a full member state in the UN is both a great shame and a serious injustice. The step taken in this direction at the Security Council last week was met with a US veto and was blocked. With this decision, the US has also disregarded the will of the other member states of the Security Council. We do not accept this decision. The American administration is not contributing to a solution with the unconditional military and diplomatic support it gives to Israel. It is causing the problem to grow even further.

The approval of a 25 billion dollar military package for Israel is the clearest indicator of this. Instead of repeating baseless accusations against Turkey over the events of 1915, the American administration should look at Gaza and prevent Israel's genocide attempts in Gaza. We reject the attitudes of Western countries that test our patience. In the Gaza crisis, we have once again seen the global dominance of Zionism, especially in America and European countries."
