AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan chaired the final meeting of his party's Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) of the year. During the meeting, which lasted approximately two hours, Erdoğan stated regarding organizational efforts that preparations for the 2028 elections must intensify in 2026.
Erdoğan stated, "The year 2026 is a critical process for our preparations for the upcoming elections. We aim to enter 2027 strongly, therefore we must increase our efforts."
Erdoğan also instructed party members to make efficient use of every day as the 'Three Months' and the month of Ramadan approach.
EMPHASIS ON THE 'TERROR-FREE TURKEY' PROCESS
Touching upon the second opening process, referred to as a "Terror-Free Turkey," during the meeting, Erdoğan stated that this process must be carried out with sensitivity. He said, "We will explain the process using a language that encompasses all 86 million, without engaging in micro-politics or regionalism. We must act meticulously to ensure no breaches are opened in the walls of our party and our government."
