Erkan Baş: Akın Gürlek takes the oath with 'bodyguards'
Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) Chairman Erkan Baş reacted to the events in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) and to Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek.

In a statement on his social media account, Baş said the following:
"Another dark day in the history of Parliament. In a session managed (again!) by Bekir Bozdağ, whose past is well known to the entire country, Akın Gürlek, who came to the podium to receive the reward for the political judicial operations he conducted, 'takes an oath' that he will serve as an impartial minister while surrounded by 'bodyguards'. This country has never seen such disgrace in its life as the AKP!"
