Erzincan gold mine landslide: Reactions from politicians

Erzincan İliç'teki altın madeninde meydana gelen göçük faciasına ilişkin siyasiler sosyal medya paylaşımı yaptı.Toprak altında kalan madencilerin kurtarılması için çalışmalar sürerken, siyasi liderlerden de kazaya ilişkin mesajlar geldi.

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel:

"We are following the disaster at the gold mine in Erzincan's İliç district with concern and horror.

Our party delegation, consisting of our Deputy Chairmen Deniz Yavuzyılmaz and Gamze Taşcıer, our MPs Mustafa Sarıgül and Müzeyyen Şevkin, and our Party Assembly member Baran Bozoğlu, has set off for the region.

Our only wish is that our miners trapped under the landslide are reached safely."

İYİ Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener:

"I am following the developments regarding the landslide at the mine in Erzincan with concern...

We had previously drawn attention to the damage caused to our nature by gold mining with cyanide at the bottom of the Euphrates River, and we had warned the government and the authorities against the dangers that could occur here.

However, unfortunately, our warnings were not taken into account, and today we are experiencing one of the most feared scenarios in the disrupted balance of nature...

I hope that we reach our miners trapped under the landslide safe and sound as soon as possible...
