Ethem Sarısülük commemorated in Güvenpark! Police barricade breached

Ethem Sarısülük, who lost his life to a police bullet during the Gezi Resistance, was commemorated in Ankara's Güvenpark on the anniversary of his death. Despite police intervention, the crowd breached the barricade and laid carnations to honor Sarısülük. Following the commemoration, a scuffle broke out when two individuals made the 'grey wolf' sign and shouted insults at the group.

Law enforcement intervened in a commemoration event held in Güvenpark, where Ethem Sarısülük passed away after being killed by police officer Ahmet Şahbaz during the Gezi protests in Ankara. 

Participants broke through the law enforcement barricade. 

Following the intervention, the family of the late Ethem Sarısülük, along with CHP Ankara Provincial Chair Ümit Erkol, CHP MP Aliye Timisi Ersever, and many others, commemorated Sarısülük in Güvenpark. 

Citizens who laid carnations at the spot where Sarısülük was killed chanted slogans such as "Shoulder to shoulder against fascism", "Our promise to them will be revolution" and "Rebellion, revolution, freedom"

After the commemoration, the group physically confronted two individuals who made the 'grey wolf' sign and shouted insults at them as they were dispersing.
