European mayors to present special award to imprisoned İmamoğlu
European mayors will visit the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and then head to Silivri Prison to present a special award to the imprisoned IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Mayors from various European cities, who are members of Eurocities, will come to Istanbul to visit the IMM and subsequently present a "Special Democracy Award" to Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is being held at Silivri Prison. This visit will be hosted by IMM Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan.
STATEMENTS FROM THE DELEGATION
During the visit, Eurocities Vice President and Mayor of Barcelona Jaume Collboni, along with B40 Balkan Cities Network President and Mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev, will make statements to the press. The delegation will hold another press conference in front of Silivri Prison on Thursday, August 28, at 14:00.
The mayors and officials included in the delegation coming to Istanbul are as follows:
