At the congress, the list submitted by provincial presidential candidate Muzaffer Çuhadar was not accepted by the congress council presidency, and his candidacy was rejected.
The election proceeded with a single list under the leadership of the incumbent Osmaniye Provincial President Mehmet Sadi Binboğa.
Regarding the list, the council presidency shared the following information: "The list submitted to the Council by Muzaffer Çuhadar has not been accepted in accordance with our Statute and Congress Regulation, due to the fact that the conduct of the congress and all kinds of transactions related to the congress are at the discretion of the Council."
Following the decision, the supporters of Muzaffer Çuhadar, whose candidacy was not accepted, left the hall.
