Allegations of harassment in Başakşehir brought residents out into the streets.

The incident occurred in the evening in the Güvercintepe neighborhood, where allegations that an 8-year-old girl was harassed by Y.B. (35) turned the area into a scene of chaos.

Following the incident, Y.B. attempted to flee but was caught by citizens. After Y.B. was beaten for a while and fled into a house, the gathered crowd pelted the building with stones. Upon notification, numerous police teams were dispatched to the scene. Having difficulty dispersing the crowd, police teams used pepper spray to disperse the citizens.

Y.B., who was taken into custody, was transported to the police station in an armored police vehicle. The crowd gathered in front of Y.B.'s house pelted the house with stones and attempted to lynch Y.B. Upon notification, numerous riot police teams were dispatched to the scene.

Taking extensive security measures on the street, police teams transported the detained Y.B. to the police station in an armored vehicle.
