Explosion at a paint workshop! 3 people injured
Three people, one of whom is in serious condition, were injured in an explosion caused by a gas leak at a paint workshop in the Erdemli district of Mersin. The incident occurred at a workshop in the industrial site located in the Alata neighborhood. Following the explosion, the side wall of the workplace collapsed, and the injured were taken to the hospital. It was reported that the police took security measures and conducted an investigation at the scene.

The incident occurred at a paint workshop in the Erdemli Industrial Site, located in the Alata neighborhood of the district. According to the information received, an explosion occurred due to a gas leak in the area where the paint oven is located while the workshop owner, A.Y., and workers were working.
While the side wall of the workplace collapsed in the explosion, 3 people, including the workshop owner, were injured.
Upon notification by those nearby, health, police, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to the district state hospital by ambulances. It was learned that one of the injured is in serious condition.
An investigation was carried out at the workplace, where the police took security measures and cordoned off the area.
