It has been revealed that Fatih Özkan, who pushed Fenerbahçe President Ali Y. Koç and caused him to fall during the Göztepe-Fenerbahçe match played in the 2nd week of the Trendyol Super League, has an extremely extensive criminal record in the courts. 

The events that took place during the Göztepe-Fenerbahçe match, which ended in a 2-2 draw in the 2nd week of the Super League, continue to remain on the agenda.

Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç went down to the sidelines in the 50th minute of the match to join the Yellow-Navy fans. During this time, objects were thrown at Ali Koç from the Göztepe stands. Fatih Özkan, who had accreditation, attacked Ali Koç. Koç fell to the ground due to the blow from Özkan.

While it emerged that Özkan was not taken into custody and went home after the match, he was caught the next day and referred to the courthouse. Özkan was sentenced to house arrest by the court he was brought before. 

HE HAS 10 CRIMINAL RECORDS

According to the report by İrfan Yirmibeş from Sözcü, Özkan, who is a member and executive of the Göztepe Business People's Association, has 10 criminal records, primarily for threats, insults, assault, and smuggling.

On the other hand, Özkan's previous social media posts containing hateful content regarding Istanbul clubs, especially Fenerbahçe, have also come to the fore on social media.

It was learned that Fatih Özkan, in his statement to the police while in custody, said, "I wanted to get Ali Koç off the field. The ground was wet. I couldn't adjust my speed. I pushed him hard unintentionally. I had no intention of causing injury."
