Eyüpsultan Deputy Mayor Hasan Karabulut arrested
Eyüpsultan Deputy Mayor Hasan Karabulut has been arrested as part of a corruption investigation into the Çankaya Municipality.

As part of the efforts conducted by the Ankara Provincial Police Department under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 25 suspects had previously been arrested in a corruption investigation targeting the Çankaya Municipality on charges of establishing a criminal organization, membership in a criminal organization, bribery, and bid-rigging.
A total of 3 suspects, who were detained in the same investigation and included Istanbul Eyüpsultan Deputy Mayor Hasan Karabulut, were brought to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
All 3 suspects were referred to the Criminal Court of Peace with a request for their arrest.
The court ordered the arrest of 2 of the suspects, including Hasan Karabulut, while judicial control measures were imposed on the remaining suspect.
