A critical detail has emerged in the investigation into the hotel in Istanbul where 4 people lost their lives after arriving in Turkey from Germany.
It has been revealed that the "Biocidal Product Application Authorization Certificates" presented on the website of the company named DSS, which was called to perform pest control at the hotel, do not exist in the database of any official institution.
As a result of the inquiries made, it was determined that the information on the website was prepared in violation of the truth.
'NO RECORD IN OFFICIAL SYSTEMS'
In the examinations conducted before the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the relevant provincial directorates, no authorization certificate was found.
Authorities clearly determined that there is no valid biocidal authorization certificate issued in the name of DSS.
HOTEL OWNER: 'I TRUSTED THEM'
In his statement to the prosecutor's office, the hotel owner stated that the term "biocidal" was present on the pest control company's website and said the following:
"The certificates were shown on the company's website. I thought they were official and valid. For this reason, I called them. When we asked for a certificate, they said it was on our website, and I allowed the pest control to be performed. I did not know the documents were fake."
