Fake investment warning from Baykar! 'We have initiated legal action against scammers'

In a statement made by Baykar, where Selçuk Bayraktar, the son-in-law of AKP President Erdoğan, serves as Chairman of the Board, it was pointed out that "investment opportunity" content published on social media using the company's name does not reflect the truth.

Making a statement on the matter, Baykar Press Spokesperson İlker Akgüngör said, "Fake advertisements prepared using artificial intelligence techniques are being presented as if they are offering investment opportunities on behalf of Baykar and are misleading people with promises of large earnings."

MANDATORY STATEMENT

We would like to warn our citizens against scammers who try to deceive people with fake advertisements.

"BY MALICIOUS INDIVIDUALS..."

The statement emphasized that the fake advertisements prepared with artificial intelligence techniques are presented as if they offer high profit promises on behalf of Baykar and are intended for fraud, stating, "Baykar has no such investment activity. All of this content is published by malicious individuals without Baykar's knowledge."

LEGAL ACTION INITIATED

The statement noted that the fake content is mistaken for being from Baykar and recorded the following:

"We invite members of the media to distinguish between Baykar's official statements and content manipulated by scammers. Baykar's official statements are made only through its own social media accounts and official website.

Furthermore, we expect social media platforms to take more effective steps to prevent such misleading content by assuming the responsibility of protecting their users and providing a safe environment. As Baykar, we have initiated the necessary legal proceedings against these fraud attempts. Respectfully announced to the public."

"FAKE ADVERTISEMENTS MISLEAD WITH PROMISES OF EARNINGS"

Baykar Press Spokesperson İlker Akgüngör also stated in his post on X regarding the matter that they wanted to warn citizens against scammers trying to deceive people with fake advertisements, using the expressions: "These scammers, who have recently been misleading people with promises of large earnings through content offering fake investment opportunities on social media platforms using Baykar's name, are victimizing our public. Fake advertisements prepared using artificial intelligence techniques are being presented as if they are offering investment opportunities on behalf of Baykar and are misleading people with promises of large earnings."
