The families of the young people who were detained and arrested while protesting the arrest of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will be in Silivri on Monday, April 7.
In a message shared by the Mother and Father Solidarity Network, they announced, "We will be in Silivri again on Monday, April 7, at 11:00 AM for legal solidarity and to provide food and drink. Tomorrow, our children in Metris are also being brought to Silivri. Among our children, there is a high school student. Wherever our children are, we are there too."
Furthermore, the families in the solidarity network conveyed the difficulties their children are facing in their education, stating, "Midterms are starting at universities. Our children are trying to prepare for their exams under prison conditions. Their study materials are still being held by the prison education commission. These materials must be delivered to our children as soon as possible. Our children must be released."
