Famous singer Mustafa Sandal takes a jab at the Defense Industry Support Fund
As reactions continue regarding the proposal to deduct an annual fee of 750 TL from credit cards with a limit of 100,000 TL or more to be transferred to the Defense Industry Support Fund, another reaction came from singer Mustafa Sandal. In a post on his X account, Sandal alluded to the proposal, saying, 'I usually start the week by exercising, but I started this week by lowering my credit card limit to 99,000 TL.'

The Justice and Development Party (AKP) had submitted a legislative proposal to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) to provide new resources for the Defense Industry Support Fund by collecting an annual fund contribution of 750 lira from those with credit card limits above 100,000 lira.
Following the proposal, citizens rebelled against the situation and expressed their reactions by calling their banks to try and lower their credit card limits.
Another reaction to the legislative proposal came from famous singer Mustafa Sandal. In a post on his X account, Sandal rebelled against the situation, saying, "I usually start the week by exercising, but I started this week by lowering my credit card limit to 99,000 TL. Have a good week..."
