Gathering in front of the Israeli Consulate, fan groups including Galatasaray's Ultraslan, Fenerbahçe's Genç Fenerbahçeliler, Beşiktaş's Çarşı, Trabzonspor's Gurbetçi Gençler, Bursaspor's Texas, Ankaragücü's Gece Kondu, Adana Demirspor's Şimşekler, Sakaryaspor's Tatangalar, and Kocaelispor's Hodri Meydan chanted slogans to express their reaction against Israel.
''WE WILL CONTINUE TO CRY OUT AGAINST THE OPPRESSOR'S TYRANNY''
In a statement made on behalf of the groups, Israel was described as a terrorist state that condemns Palestine to hunger, death, persecution, and genocide.
The statement emphasized that Israel is committing crimes against humanity, stating, "We know that Western countries, which talk about human rights at every opportunity, have never spoken out against Israeli terrorism before the eyes of the whole world. That is why the whole world, all of humanity, is standing up for human dignity, crying out against the oppressor's tyranny in the squares, and we will continue to do so. The genocide and crimes against humanity that Israel is committing in Palestine before the eyes of the entire world have exhausted the patience of everyone with a conscience."
''WE SALUTE THE MILLIONS SUPPORTING PALESTINE''
The statement, which noted that Israel is bombing schools and hospitals and massacring women and children, concluded as follows: "Our sorrow, our pain, and our anger are immense. Supporting the Palestinian resistance without any ifs or buts is a requirement of being human. Defending the Palestinian resistance is a matter of dignity, a matter of integrity. The time is the time for Jerusalem, the day is the day of resistance. We are standing up for Jerusalem, for Al-Aqsa. We salute the resistance of our brotherly Palestinian people against the occupation, and we salute the millions who support Palestine in different countries around the world."
During the statement, slogans were repeatedly chanted accompanied by flares to show support for Palestine and express opposition to Israel.
