Farmer who rushed to fire with a flat tire gifted a water tanker
The General Directorate of Forestry did not remain indifferent to Ramazan Doğan, who intervened in a forest fire in the Harmancık district of Bursa by transporting water with a tractor trailer that had a flat tire. A water tanker was gifted to Doğan, who rushed to the fire zone as a volunteer, by the General Director of Forestry, Bekir Karacabey.

Ramazan Doğan, who was captured on mobile phone cameras at that moment transporting water despite a shredded tire, received great appreciation.
Doğan, who practically mobilized with his tractor during the firefighting efforts, also became a trending topic on social media.
Ramazan Doğan's selfless struggle prompted the General Directorate of Forestry to take action. General Director Bekir Karacabey, who came to the region, met with the villager and delivered a new water tanker to Doğan. Karacabey said, "We are grateful to all our heroic villagers who protect every inch of this homeland's soil and do not take a step back despite the fire."
