With only a few days left until the local elections, the People's Alliance's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) mayoral candidate Murat Kurum continues to make headlines with his gaffes at rallies.

Journalist Fatih Altaylı addressed Kurum's persistent gaffes in a video published on his YouTube channel.

Commenting on the view that these gaffes are being used as a political style, Altaylı stated that the ruling party has employed a gaffe-centered political approach for years.

"LISTEN TO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING"

Recalling the election campaigns conducted against the gaffes of former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Altaylı said:

"For 12 years, you conducted political propaganda by mocking Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's gaffes. You are still making the video of him going the wrong way on an escalator a topic of discussion."

"Well then. You will mock the nation's gaffes, but the nation won't say anything about your gaffes, is that it? They will mock you, my friend; you should also listen to what you are saying. Go watch yourself in the speeches you've made, your style, your tone."
