Journalist Fatih Altaylı criticized the People's Alliance's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Murat Kurum.

With this demeanor, do you know who I compare Murat Kurum to as a politician? Don't get me wrong, but to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. He, too, especially in the early period of his political life, had a colorless, odorless, and indifferent demeanor. He was unresponsive; he would show fake reactions, but he couldn't quite pull them off. I suppose when people stay in the bureaucracy for a long time, they become a bit like this. Of course, there was still a very important difference between them. Kılıçdaroğlu was a bureaucrat of the old Turkey, while Murat Kurum is one of the new Turkey.
