Video from Fatih Erbakan: 'These misery wages...'

Another call for an early election has come from New Welfare Party (YRP) Chairman Fatih Erbakan. In a video he released on his social media account, Erbakan criticized the announced minimum wage and pension, stating, "Our nation will give the necessary response at the ballot box to the government that deems these misery wages worthy of them. For this reason, it is necessary to put the ballot box before the nation as soon as possible and to get rid of these injustices through an early election. Everything has its time. The time has come for the government to go."

In the video titled "The time has come for the government to go," Erbakan made the following statements: 

"As is known, the government announced the lowest pension for SGK and Bağ-Kur retirees as 14 thousand 469 liras with a 15.75 percent raise. The government, which did not hear the objections and cries of civil servants and retired civil servants regarding the 11.54 percent salary raise, also did not hear the SGK and Bağ-Kur retirees. With this announcement, it has once again been revealed that we are facing an indifferent government. Today, the hunger threshold in our country has reached 23 thousand 256 liras, and the poverty threshold has reached 71 thousand 48 liras. In the face of this reality, those who deem salaries below the hunger threshold—let alone the poverty threshold—worthy of our nation, and who also offer 'best wishes' on top of it, have become the government of those who enrich themselves unjustly, not our nation. The government has forgotten to say 'the nation first.' The government has broken away from the understanding of fair governance. The government has deviated from the principle of justice in distribution. Instead of all these noble principles, it has brought an understanding of unjust enrichment, wasting public property, and 'privileges first.'

'OUR NATION WILL GIVE THE NECESSARY RESPONSE TO THE GOVERNMENT AT THE BALLOT BOX'

Our nation will give the necessary response at the ballot box to the government that deems these misery wages worthy of them. For this reason, it is necessary to put the ballot box before the nation as soon as possible and to get rid of these injustices through an early election. We remind you of the salary raises between 120 percent and 325 percent given to the oppressed, low-income millions during the 54th Government period, and that it is possible to give these raises to our nation in the current year of 2025 as well. On this occasion, we invite our nation to gather under the roof of the New Welfare Party, the address of the National View (Milli Görüş), for fair distribution and fair governance. To the government that has become blind, deaf, and indifferent to the demands of the oppressed, we say, 'Your time is up, you have broken away from our nation, you have become the party of the privileged who enrich themselves unjustly, the time has come for you to go.' Everything has its time. The time has come for the government to go. The time is now.
