TFF PUBLISHED THE ENTIRE MEETING

Following the meeting where the penalty position in the Galatasaray-Antalyaspor match was discussed, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) published the entire meeting in question.

Journalist Fatih Portakal included the footage of the referee meeting, which caused a wide stir in the sports community, in the Sözcü TV Main News Bulletin.

Galatasaray Sports Club announced that it would initiate proceedings against Fatih Portakal and Sözcü TV for broadcasting only the portion of the meeting related to Galatasaray.

Following Galatasaray's statement, Fatih Portakal responded to the Yellow-Red club at 19:07.

Portakal used the following expressions in the Sözcü TV Main News Bulletin:

“Our power lies in our influence. I am that clear. No one can criticize our journalism. Neither mine nor that of my colleagues here. Our conscience is clear, we are doing our job. If there are those who are uncomfortable, they will continue to be uncomfortable.”
