Fatih Portakal's comment on CHP's candidate form 'prepared for İmamoğlu': He pointed out that detail

The primary election agenda continues within the Republican People's Party (CHP). The CHP will determine its presidential candidate through a primary. 20 deputies are required to nominate a candidate. Deputies are expected to fill out a form addressed to the 'Republican People's Party Chairmanship...'

The CHP will determine its presidential candidate through a primary on March 23, 2025. To determine the candidate, deputies will fill out a form where they write the name and identity of the person they are nominating. A detail in the form did not go unnoticed. Presenter Fatih Portakal pointed out the detail in the CHP's primary election form.

Deputies write the name of the person they wish to nominate on the prepared form and sign it.

STRIKING DETAIL IN THE FORM

Fatih Portakal revealed the striking detail in the form. At the end of the form, there is a sentence that reads, "We propose that .... participate in the primary as a presidential candidate."">

'When looking at the '....' section, 'Mansur Yavaş'un' does not fit. 'Tanju Özcan'un' also does not fit. 

Presenter Fatih Portakal stated that, based on the suffix 'nun' (a possessive/genitive suffix in Turkish), it was a form prepared for Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Stating, "This is called intra-party democracy," Portakal also expressed that it would be better if several candidates emerged.
