Fatoş Pınar Türker fainted in prison and was not transferred to a hospital: She is being tried in the IMM case

Türker's lawyer, Burak Candan, requested that Türker, who has a heart condition, be transferred to a full-fledged hospital, that prison conditions be investigated, and that her planned transfer to Düzce Prison be canceled.

According to the report by Furkan Karabay from Medyascope, Türker's lawyer, Burak Candan, submitted a petition to the court due to his client's worsening heart condition.

The petition stated that Türker, who has been in custody since March 23, 2025, has experienced various health problems during her time in prison. It was noted that Türker has a heart condition and occasionally experiences loss of consciousness. The petition requested that Türker be transferred to a full-fledged state hospital for a medical examination.

She lost consciousness and fainted in prison

It was explained that Fatoş Pınar Türker fell ill at both the Düzce Closed Penal Execution Institution and the Marmara Women's Closed Penal Execution Institution.

The petition stated that Türker fell ill on July 2 while in custody at the Marmara Women's Closed Prison, where she lost consciousness and fainted.

It was alleged that despite Türker pressing the panic button, the staff did not intervene in a timely manner. The petition stated that during her most recent health incident on July 24, 2026, Türker fell to the ground, hit her head, and was subsequently not transferred to a hospital.

The petition stated that with the second hearing approaching, it is planned to transfer Türker back to Düzce Prison, and that this process would be risky in terms of her health condition.

The petition requested that Türker be transferred to a full-fledged hospital, that the issue regarding the panic buttons at the Marmara Women's Closed Penal Execution Institution be investigated, and that the planned transfer to Düzce be canceled.
