Femicide in Samsun: Killed in front of her home
31-year-old Muradiye Terzi lost her life after being subjected to an armed attack in front of her home in Samsun. Police teams have launched an operation to apprehend the attacker who fled the scene.

The incident occurred today around noon at the TOKİ Residences in the Pelitköy neighborhood of Samsun's Atakum district.
According to the information obtained, Muradiye Terzi (31) was critically wounded after being shot in the chest during an armed attack in front of her door.
The armed attacker fled the scene. Muradiye Terzi, who was found lying on the ground in front of her entrance door by neighbors, was taken by ambulance to the Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, where she could not be saved despite all interventions and lost her life.

While police recovered 1 empty shell casing at the scene, they identified the perpetrator of the armed attack as M.D. (43).
Efforts are underway to capture the fleeing armed attacker. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
