Fenerbahçe, which drew 3-3 with Kayserispor last night, fell 5 points behind league leaders Galatasaray, dealing a heavy blow to their championship hopes. This sporting outcome was negatively reflected in their stock market performance.

Fenerbahçe shares began the first trading day of the week with a sharp decline of 7.65 percent, starting at 42.76 liras. The decline continued throughout the day, and as of 10:25, the share price had lost 8 percent of its value, falling to 42.60 liras.

RISE IN GALATASARAY

Galatasaray, on the other hand, maintained its lead by defeating Sipay Bodrum FK 2-0 last week. This victory was positively reflected in the yellow-red club's share performance. Starting the week with a 7.49 percent increase at 2.01 liras, Galatasaray shares continued to trade at 2 liras as of 10:25, marking a 6.95 percent rise.

Looking at the stock market performance of other clubs; Beşiktaş started the week with a 0.49 percent increase at 2.06 liras. However, as of 10:25, its share value had fallen by 0.98 percent to 2.03 liras. Trabzonspor began the day with a 1.11 percent rise at 0.91 liras and continued this upward trend, reaching 0.92 liras with a 2 percent increase at 10:25.
