Ferry cancellations by GESTAŞ and Marmara RoRo due to adverse weather conditions
The poor weather conditions that have been effective in recent days have also negatively impacted maritime transport. On December 1, 2024, GESTAŞ AŞ and Marmara RoRo announced that they have cancelled some of their ferry services due to adverse weather.

According to the statement made by GESTAŞ AŞ, the 11:30 and 17:30 services on the Narlı-Marmara line have been cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
Marmara RoRo, meanwhile, announced that it has cancelled all of its services in the Sea of Marmara on December 1, 2024.
Passengers are advised to seek information regarding alternative transportation methods for the cancelled services.
