In an operation conducted to uncover the activities of armed terrorist organizations and to capture their members, a suspect named A.Y., who had a finalized prison sentence of 6 years, 6 months, and 22 days for the crime of being a member of the FETÖ/PDY armed terrorist organization, was captured as a result of the meticulous work of the Bayburt Enforcement and Execution Bureau and the Anti-Terrorism Branch Directorate. The terrorist organization member, who was brought before the court, was arrested and sent to prison.
The Bayburt Provincial Police Department announced that the fight against all terrorist organizations and their collaborators will continue with determination.
