FETÖ operation in 19 provinces: 34 people apprehended

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 34 suspects were apprehended in the 'Kıskaç-26' operations conducted against FETÖ across 19 provinces.

Kıskaç-26 operations against FETÖ were carried out in Adana, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Aksaray, Bursa, Edirne, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Istanbul, Izmir, Kayseri, Kahramanmaraş, Kırşehir, Muğla, Tokat, and Trabzon.

As a result of the operations, 34 suspects were apprehended, and a large amount of digital material was seized.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya provided the following details regarding the suspects apprehended in the operation:

“It was determined that they were active within the organization's so-called 'Military Secret Structure and Police Secret Structure',

communicated via payphones, were users of the organization's encrypted communication program 'ByLock',

and were named in testimonies and identifications, and had final prison sentences and arrest warrants issued against them within the scope of FETÖ investigations.”
