FETÖ operation in 46 provinces: 151 people with prison sentences and arrest warrants captured

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated, "In our simultaneous operations against FETÖ in 46 provinces, we have captured 151 suspects who had finalized prison sentences or active arrest warrants."

Interior Minister Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that in simultaneous operations against FETÖ in 46 provinces, they had captured 151 suspects with finalized prison sentences or active arrest warrants, noting that 82 of the suspects have been arrested, judicial control measures have been applied to 54, and proceedings are ongoing for the others.

Minister Yerlikaya shared the following information regarding the operations:

"As a result of the work carried out under the coordination of our General Directorate of Security (EGM) Counter-Terrorism (TEM) Department, and the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) and Intelligence Departments; operations were conducted against suspects identified as having been active within the 'Judiciary Secret Structure, Military Secret Structure, Education Structure, Student Structure, and Secret Structures,' being users of the encrypted communication program ByLock, communicating via payphones, being in contact with individuals responsible within the organization, being coded as advantageous in interviews within the scope of individual exam investigations, and residing in safe houses referred to by the organization as 'Gaybubet Houses.' These operations were carried out by our TEM and KOM Branch Directorates based in Ankara, Balıkesir, Batman, Burdur, Çorum, Denizli, Istanbul, Kars, Kocaeli, Malatya, Manisa, Osmaniye, Samsun, Siirt, and Tekirdağ, as well as in Adana, Adıyaman, Afyonkarahisar, Aksaray, Amasya, Antalya, Aydın, Bursa, Edirne, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Gümüşhane, Hatay, Izmir, Kahramanmaraş, Karabük, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Konya, Kütahya, Mardin, Mersin, Muğla, Nevşehir, Ordu, Sakarya, Şanlıurfa, Sivas, Rize, Uşak, and Trabzon. We continue our fight with determination against FETÖ and its structures that threaten the unity and solidarity of our nation, the integrity of our state, and the peace and welfare of our citizens.
