FETÖ operation in 8 provinces centered in Ankara: 15 detention warrants issued!

As part of the investigations conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention warrants have been issued for 15 suspects in 8 provinces centered in Ankara, who are understood to have links and connections to the structure of the FETÖ/PDY armed terrorist organization that targeted and embedded itself within the Air Force Command, referred to as 'covert services'.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued detention warrants for 15 suspects as part of an investigation into the structure of the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) within the Air Force Command.

According to the statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an investigation was launched into suspects identified as having connections to the organization's structure known as "covert services" and who communicated with the organization's "civilian imams" using payphones and landlines.

Detention warrants were issued for 5 officers, 1 non-commissioned officer, and 1 military student previously dismissed from the Turkish Armed Forces, as well as 8 civilians.

Operations by the Ankara Police Department teams to apprehend the suspects are ongoing.
