FETÖ operation in Istanbul: 5 doctors, 3 in public and 2 in private sector, apprehended
As part of investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the FETÖ/PDY armed terrorist organization, 5 suspect doctors have been detained. They are alleged to have participated in a Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) camp organized by the group under the guise of cellular study sessions and to have been identified as organization members in whistleblower testimonies.

As part of investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the FETÖ/PDY armed terrorist organization, it was alleged that 5 suspect doctors participated in a Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) camp organized by the group under the guise of cellular study sessions at a dormitory affiliated with the organization, maintained contact with the so-called TUS supervisor, were identified as organization members in whistleblower testimonies, and held Bankasya accounts.
ALL 5 SUSPECTS APPREHENDED
Simultaneous operations were carried out at 6 addresses in Istanbul, Konya, and Mardin targeting the 5 suspects, who are actively working as doctors—3 in the public sector and 2 in the private sector. As a result of the operation, all 5 suspects were apprehended and taken into custody.
