FETÖ operations in İzmir and Mersin: 12 suspects in custody
As part of investigations conducted by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation was launched against 13 suspects, all of whom are dismissed police personnel. In simultaneous raids, 12 people were taken into custody, while one suspect remains at large.

The Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau of the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued detention warrants for 13 dismissed police personnel accused of membership in the FETÖ/PDY terrorist organization as part of ongoing investigations.
It was determined that the suspects had records of organizational membership in the seized digital materials.
In the operation centered in İzmir, simultaneous raids were carried out on a total of 13 addresses in the districts of Menemen, Bergama, and Torbalı, as well as in Mersin. As a result of the operation conducted by the İzmir Provincial Security Directorate teams, 12 suspects were taken into custody. It was reported that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspect included in the detention warrant.
