File regarding Özgür Özel and 5 deputies sent to Ankara!
The Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a decision of lack of jurisdiction regarding the file containing allegations of money demands and delivery during the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidacy process prior to the 2024 local elections. The file concerning CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and 5 deputies has been sent to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a decision of lack of jurisdiction regarding the file containing allegations of money demands and delivery during the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidacy process prior to the 2024 local elections.
The file has been referred to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the preparation of summaries of proceedings (fezleke) concerning CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and deputies Veli Ağbaba, Ali Mahir Başarır, Umut Akdoğan, Mustafa Erdem, and Cavit Arı.
It was stated that the investigation regarding individuals who are not deputies and their actions will continue to be conducted by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
