File thrown by principal at teacher classified as a weapon

It has emerged that İbrahim Kutlu Özmantar, an executive at the Bülbülzade Foundation known for its proximity to the government, is being tried on allegations of assaulting a female teacher.
In 2022, while serving as the school principal at the Gaziantep Mehmet Hayri Akınal Girls' Imam Hatip High School, Özmantar began arguing with Quran teacher H.Ö.
During the argument, Özmantar threw a file at the female teacher's head.
PROSECUTOR CLASSIFIED THE FILE AS A WEAPON
According to a report by Birgün, as a result of the investigation launched into the incident, the prosecutor requested the filing of a public lawsuit on the grounds that Özmantar had intentionally injured H.Ö. by using the file as a weapon.
While witness statements, camera footage, and a doctor's report confirmed H.Ö.'s allegations, the prosecutor has requested a sentence for Özmantar.
