Those who can find an air conditioner are considered lucky, but the real problem is getting it installed. Appointments for installation are being given for days later. Wait times for air conditioner installation range from 15 days to 1 month.
Citizens, noting that summer will be over in a month, are complaining about this situation. One citizen who said, "They gave us a 15-day wait, so we made an extra payment to move the date up," stated that they paid an additional 4,500 TL. Air conditioning technicians, noting that there are unlicensed air conditioning services, also warned citizens to be careful.
