Fire alarm in Foça, İzmir: Aerial and ground intervention continues
A fire that broke out on agricultural land in the Foça district of İzmir has spread to scrubland and forest areas. The fire is being fought from the air with 2 planes and 5 helicopters, and from the ground with 20 fire trucks, bulldozers, and water supply vehicles. Extinguishing efforts are ongoing.

The fire, which started on agricultural land in the Gerenköy area of İzmir's Foça district at 14:25 in the afternoon, spread to the nearby forest area in a short time.
Teams affiliated with the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry are conducting an intensive operation to bring the fire under control from both the air and the ground.
So far, 2 planes, 5 helicopters, 20 fire trucks, 5 water supply vehicles, and 1 bulldozer belonging to the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry have been deployed to fight the fire. The teams are working tirelessly to prevent the flames from spreading further and to extinguish the fire as quickly as possible.
