A fire broke out at a furniture workshop located in the Altındağ district, in the Siteler neighborhood of Ankara.
Upon seeing smoke rising from the furniture workshop on Özgü Street in the Önder neighborhood, local citizens notified the fire department. The fire, which grew in a short time, was first responded to by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality fire crews from the Siteler Station.

In addition, reinforcement tankers were dispatched to the region from surrounding stations. Those affected by the smoke were treated in ambulances dispatched to the scene. Precautions were taken to prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding buildings. Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş conducted inspections at the scene.
