Fire at AKP deputy's factory

A fire that broke out in wooden pallets in the open area of the Europen facility was brought under control by the fire department before it could spread to the production building.

A fire broke out in the garden of the Europen factory, owned by AKP Eskişehir Deputy Nebi Hatipoğlu, in the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone. The fire, which started in wooden pallets located in an open area, was extinguished by teams before it could reach the production facility.

The fire occurred in the evening hours in the 1st Development Zone of the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone, located in the İmişehir neighborhood of the Odunpazarı district. The pallets in the garden of the facility, which produces door and window systems, caught fire for reasons yet to be determined.

Upon the notification of facility employees who noticed the flames, teams from the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department were dispatched to the area. With the efforts of numerous teams, the fire was brought under control and completely extinguished.

There were no casualties or injuries in the incident. Fire crews conducted cooling operations in the area following the extinguishing efforts. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.

Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce also issued a statement thanking the firefighters and field teams who responded quickly to the fire, and conveyed her best wishes to Nebi Hatipoğlu, the Europen family, and the employees.
