Fire caused by heater claims a life in Tekirdağ

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in a single-story detached house in the Temrezli neighborhood of Hayrabolu district, where a fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined from an electric heater used for heating by Göksel Filiz, who lived alone.

Upon the notification of neighbors who noticed the flames, fire, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene in a short time. The fire was brought under control and extinguished with the intervention of the fire department teams. Following cooling efforts, an examination by medical teams determined that Göksel Filiz had lost their life due to smoke inhalation.

Authorities reported that a detailed investigation has been launched at the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
