One worker lost their life and another was injured in a fire that broke out in a container at a construction site in Antakya, Hatay. Following the incident, fire crews intervened and brought the fire under control.

In the Antakya district of Hatay, one worker lost their life in a fire that broke out in a container used as a dormitory at a construction site where residential construction is ongoing.
The fire broke out for an as-yet undetermined reason in the container used by workers as a dormitory. Upon notification, fire, 112 Emergency Health, and police teams were dispatched to the area. The fire was extinguished through the intervention of the fire crews.
In the fire, the worker staying in the container, İbrahim Y., lost his life, and Mehmet Ali Ö. was injured.
The injured worker was taken to Hatay Training and Research Hospital by medical teams.
