Efforts continued throughout the night to bring the fire under control and ensure the safety of surrounding businesses after it started yesterday afternoon at the Scrapyard Site in Ankara's Yenimahalle district and spread to the surrounding area due to strong winds.
The fire, which began around 14:30 yesterday in an open area belonging to a recycling company on 3874th Street in the İvedikköy neighborhood when waste paper and tires ignited, grew rapidly due to the wind. The teams' intervention in the fire was captured from the air.
