Fire in container city in Hatay

A fire that broke out in a container city in Hatay caused panic, leaving 2 containers unusable.

The fire occurred during the night hours in a container city located in the Antakya district.

Citizens who noticed flames coming from a container reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Hatay Metropolitan Municipality fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. 

CONTAINERS RENDERED UNUSABLE

As the flames rose, citizens began to intervene in the fire. The fire was extinguished through the efforts of the fire department teams and citizens before it could spread to other surrounding containers. 

Two containers were rendered unusable in the fire. The fact that no one was in the containers at the time of the fire prevented a tragedy.
