Fire panic in Avcılar! Extinguished by emergency teams
A fire that broke out on the roof of a building vacated as part of urban transformation efforts in Avcılar caused panic. The fire was brought under control through the rapid intervention of fire crews.

The incident occurred around noon on Rüzgarlı Street in the Ambarlı neighborhood of Avcılar district. According to information obtained, a fire broke out for an unknown reason on the roof of a 4-story building that had been vacated as part of urban transformation works.
Upon notification by local residents, numerous fire crews were dispatched to the scene. The fire crews arriving in the area prevented the risk of the fire spreading to neighboring buildings. It was learned that, fortunately, no citizens were injured in the fire, which was brought under control in a short time.
"THIS IS A BUILDING WAITING TO BE DEMOLISHED"
Uğur Atak, one of the neighborhood residents, said, "Smoke was seen rising from above. When we arrived, flames were rising. We notified the fire department. This is a building that has been waiting to be demolished for a week or 10 days due to the municipality's system being down and issues with the security deposit. Ultimately, it is an abandoned building."
