CHP Ankara MP Umut Akdoğan made an assessment regarding the tape allegations involving Mustafa Sarıgül, which dropped like a bombshell on the agenda, during a broadcast on tv100.

Interpreting the events as a loss of reputation for the political institution, CHP's Akdoğan made an assessment regarding FETÖ in the Sarıgül incident.

Pointing out what technological developments can produce in the hands of such malicious people, Akdoğan made a striking comment.

"THE FETÖ MEMBERS WERE DOING THE MOST DISGRACEFUL OF THESE BLACKMAIL RECORDING JOBS"

In his statement on the subject, CHP's Akdoğan said, "We see the point to which civility in politics and the reputation of the political institution have been brought.

Technological developments may have made these things possible, but these setups, tapes, and videos have truly entered our lives in the last 15 years.

In fact, if you ask me, the FETÖ members were doing the most disgraceful of these blackmail, threat, and recording jobs."

"ONE SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID"

Akdoğan stated, "The biggest advice from those close to politicians who love politicians is, 'Oh, don't step on anyone's toes.' I am very sorry, but if I am not going to step on anyone's toes, why am I doing politics?

I am doing politics to step on the toes of someone walking on the wrong path, to pull the jacket of someone going on the wrong path.

If a politician is a bit ambitious, if their voice is loud, if they move on the right path, it is said that a video will come out about them, and therefore politics should be done quietly. Let me say it from here: one should not be afraid of any of these, one should go after them, and one should proceed by settling scores."
