First comment from CHP regarding Erkan's resignation

Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan has resigned, as announced in a post on her social media account.
The first reaction from the CHP came following Erkan's resignation. CHP Deputy Chairman Yalçın Karatepe stated the following in a post on his social media account:
"The resignation of Central Bank Governor H. Gaye Erkan is not a surprise. Erdoğan had not strongly supported her. It was clear she would go. The only unknown was the timing. It is not expected that her successor will do things much differently."
