First firing test successfully completed: ANKA-3 hits the bullseye

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has announced that it has successfully completed the first firing test of the ANKA-3.

TUSAŞ reported that it has successfully completed the first firing test of the ANKA-3.

According to the statement made by TUSAŞ, the ANKA-3, equipped with the AF500 electro-optical camera developed by Aselsan, carried out its first firing test. 

The ANKA-3 successfully completed the test using the 'Teber-82' guidance kit developed by Roketsan.

The statement read, "It hit the target dead center on its 12th sortie. The hero of the skies, ANKA-3, crowned its first firing with victory. Our national engineering marvel unmanned combat aerial vehicle, ANKA-3, the pride of the Turkish defense industry, has successfully completed its first firing test. The superior performance shown by the ANKA-3 in tests is an indicator of the great contribution it will make to our country's operational capabilities and defense capacity in the future. We will continue to serve our rapidly developing defense industry in the Century of Türkiye, day and night without pause."

TUSAŞ also shared a video of the firing test. The footage included the ANKA-3 taking off and successfully striking the target.
